Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a related field from an
accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama and two years academic advising or directly related
experience. A masters degree in a related field may substitute for one year of the required experience.

The University of South Alabama’s College of Nursing is seeking to hire an Academic Advisor II. Interested

Essential Functions
Serves as an Academic Advisor for the College
or Nursing; recruits and travels for specific events; advises and processes applications for admission, progression and graduation;
responsible for recruitment, admission and academic advisement for nursing students; interacts with prospective students via phone, computer
and in person, participates in all college and University recruitment and advising activities including Move-In-Day, new student, transfer
student and graduate student orientations and college convocations; inputs data of student information using Banner, college website,
bulletin or other related sources; updates student files as needed; processes and submits various student related paperwork; produces
reports request from the Dean/Associate Dean for the College of Nursing; completes degree audits and assists with college graduation
activities; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours required; related duties as required.
