Job Description:
Function & Scope:
To
participate in the planning and delivery of academic advising services and programs which promote comprehensive educational opportunities
for all students.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrates ability to work as a team member.
- Knowledge
and understanding of university policies and procedures, academic requirements, and campus resources. - Ability to use multiple
computer systems including PeopleSoft, OnBase, StudentBook, and well as Microsoft Office. - Ability to identify student’s needs in
order to make appropriate referrals; maintain confidentiality of student records. - Possesses strong written, verbal and interpersonal
communication skills; strong organizational and management skills.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and Four (4) years academic advising, counseling, higher education, social work, human services with students, young
adults or adolescents, or related experience.
or Master’s degree and 2 years of related work experience

Related academic experience
