Kilachand Honors College
Academic Advisors are a resource for Kilachand Honors College students regarding policies, resources, and academic requirements of
Kilachand, the BU Hub, and Boston University. Advisors help students to identify and integrate their strengths and interests to craft
coherent and fulfilling academic plans. Kilachand Academic Advisors may manage student groups, sit on university-wide committees, or serve
as the point-of-contact for specific initiatives within Kilachand. This role will work specifically with second, third, and fourth year
students in Kilachand Honors College. This role works collaboratively with the Director of Student Academic Life to advise third and fourth
year students as they undertake their Keystone Project and will manage the Kilachand Peer Mentor Program, a student support and engagement

Kilachand seeks an individual who can work nimbly and collaboratively within a team and who holds a Master’s Degree in Higher Education or
a related field with at least 3 years of experience in a student-facing role. The Kilachand Advising team works primarily in-person with
flexibility following commitments outside of typical business hours. We seek a thoughtful communicator who will encourage the full
participation of a diverse student community.
