About This
Role:
Kansas State University, Office of the Vice Provost of Student Success, is seeking a part-time Academic Services
Coordinator who is passionate about improving the experiences and outcomes of students historically underrepresented in higher education.
The Student Success Academic Services Coordinator will work with a cross-functional team at K-State dedicated to creating a Community of
Connection for underrepresented minority (URM) students. Our aim is to build a critical infrastructure to expand and coordinate the
important but currently diffuse initiatives at K-State intended to support URM student success in STEM and other disciplines.
We
have an initial inventory of over 70 programs designed to support URM students at the university. Some of these programs are funded by
corporate donations, some by federal grants, and others are tied to university budgets. There are significant administrative, tracking,
reporting and evaluation demands. By creating a comprehensive, coordinated, and integrated system of support for underrepresented minority
(URM) students across the student lifecycle, we anticipate great success in attracting and retaining a talented and diverse student body.
The Student Success Academic Services Coordinator’s primary duties involve identify potential funding streams, determining an
appropriate process for applying or seeking out funding, as well as identifitying other individuals who might help with the application
process.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Minimum
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Three years of relevant experience
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience coordinating projects, interpreting data, and organizing teams
- Strong writing
skills - Ability to work flexible hours during summer months

Anticipated Hiring Salary
Range:
$21.94 – $34.01 per hour
