General Summary
The Assistant Director of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program, under the direction of the Program Director, provides leadership, mentoring, and actively works to support and promote the academic and extracurricular opportunities for students in the minor, graduate certificate, and queer studies concentration. Will also teach 1 course each fall and spring and 2 summer courses.
Required Qualifications
1. Master’s or Ph.D.
2. Two years of teaching experience.
3. Experience with programming, mentoring, and outreach.
Work Hours
Generally Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with occasional weekend and evening hours as business needs dictate
Functional Expectations
Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
1. Remain at a workstation for extended periods
2. Move about in various locations on and off campus as needed to complete day-to-day work
3. Effectively communicate on a daily basis
Proposed Starting Date
Spring Semester 2023
Salary Rate / Pay Rate
Pay is commensurate with qualifications and experience, combined with an excellent benefits package
