Summary of
Position

Responsible for processing official and unofficial evaluations, degree plans, and transfer credit articulations
for active duty military, civilians and retirees worldwide. Provides academic advising and assistance to students in person, through email,
phone and chats. Provides support for all duties as needed in Student Services.


Minimum Required
Education

Bachelor’s Degree from a nationally, regionally, or identified at the state level accredited institution
of higher education required.


Minimum Required Experience

Two years full-time wage earning
professional experience in academic advising/counseling, financial aid/VA educational benefits, or student accounts or relevant
administrative experience in the education field preferably at the college level. Prefer experience in processing evaluations of military
education and experience for all U.S. service branches.

interpersonal communication skills.• Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to persons of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and
ethnic backgrounds, and those with disabilities.• Ability to work effectively and in a positive manner with
students, CTC faculty and staff, and the general public locally and at a distance using various forms of media.• Ability to
set priorities, multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.• Proficient with MS Office Suite including Word,
Excel, and Outlook (also prefer Access); using a student information system; and adapting to new technologies as needed.



Hours
Full-time, indicate working hours – Mon-Thursday 7:30-5:30; Fri 7:30-11:30, Other – This position may require evenings
and other nonstandard working hours. , Overtime, describe requirements – As needed.
