POSITION: STEM Academic Advisor (Part-Time)
Description of Duties:
Advise and enroll Engineering and Science college students. Assist with the advisement and enrollment of students with STEM majors. Perform other duties as assigned. This is a part-time hourly position up to 20 hours per week. Upon request, the hours are either 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Days and hours may vary during extended enrollment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field. Experience in academic advising, higher education, customer service or related field. Detail oriented, good technical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
An unofficial degree conferring transcripts must be received by this office for formal consideration; however, should an offer of employment be extended, official transcripts are required.
All finalists may be subject to a background check and/or drug test.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
