Position Summary
The position in the Feik School of Pharmacy will provide support to the Director of the Pharmacy Technician program and the school, prepare pharmacy technicians for experiential training, monitor and file experiential training records, and perform other duties as assigned.
This position is considered a “Responsible Employee” under Title IX federal regulations and “Mandatory Reporter” under Texas state law and the UIW Sexual Misconduct Policy. As a Mandatory Reporter, this position requires you, as the employee, to promptly report any incident that you witness or receive information about Title IX violations. These reporting responsibilities are set in the UIW Sexual Misconduct Policy.

Description of Job Duties
- Advise students on academic and non-academic matters.
- Explain student responsibilities and expectations.
- Review experiential training documentation processes.
- Identify and approve new training sites.
- Visit with experiential site supervisors regarding student success.
- Recruit for students at local schools.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Strong computer skills with a willingness to learn new technology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Required Education
Bachelor’s degree.
Required Work Experience
Three years experience in K-12 or higher education.
Preferred Qualifications
1 year experience working in experiential education in a school/university Or 3 years pharmacy experience OR 3 years in student counseling Or 5 years as a registered pharmacy technician.
Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Work Hours
10 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday.
Physical Demands
Ability to lift 25 Lbs.
